BRENT ALLEN • Creator, Executive Producer & host
Brent Allen is a Texas-born musician, songwriter, storyteller, and creator of TexCentric. Over more than three decades, he has performed across Texas and beyond, working both onstage and behind the scenes while building a career rooted in country music, authentic storytelling, and a deep appreciation for the people and places that define Texas.
His career has taken him from concert stages and recording studios to small towns, back roads, and historic landmarks, where a lifelong curiosity about Texas history, culture, and music gradually evolved into the vision for TexCentric.
As creator, executive producer, and host, Brent guides viewers through each journey with curiosity, humor, and respect—serving not as the center of the story, but as the thread connecting the people, places, and experiences that make Texas unlike anywhere else.
Dr. Danger • creator & executive producer
Dr. Danger is a professional stuntman, television personality, producer, and creator of TexCentric. Over more than three decades, he has performed live daredevil stunts across the country and appeared in productions including the History Channel series American Daredevils, America’s Got Talent, and America’s Got Talent: Extreme.
His career has given him firsthand experience developing television, coordinating crews and equipment, adapting to unpredictable conditions, and turning real events into stories an audience can follow.
As creator and executive producer of TexCentric, Danger brings that lived production experience to the show’s practical and creative development, working largely behind the camera while helping keep the people, places, and experiences of Texas at the center of the story.
How It Comes Together
Brent Allen and Dr. Danger reconnected in late 2021 while working as stagehands—two people from very different paths discovering a shared respect for craft, community, and the unseen work that makes experiences possible.
TexCentric grew from that connection.
Together, they approach Texas culture the same way they approach their work: hands-on, unpretentious, and rooted in care.
